We are seeking experienced Blast Hole Drillers to work a 2:1 roster flying in and out from Perth to Port Hedland.  Reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor, you will directly contribute to the effectiveness of how MACA deliver on a major mining project.

Responsibilities of the role: 

Checking and changing consumables and greasing drill rig safely using correct manual handling techniques.

Achieves budget pen rate consistently and in a safe manner.

Operate Drills within OEM specifications and recommendations

Drill logs, time sheets and other paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Blast holes are drilled accurately according to the blast design.

Assisting shotfirers where required.

Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Drill and Blast Supervisor

To be successful in this role, you will possess: 

Experience in blast hole drilling with top hammer drill rigs or similar operating in an open cut environment 

High attention to detail

Commitment to safety in the workplace

Current Australian driver licence

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
