About the Role:

Minjar Gold is looking for a talented, highly skilled Emergency Response Advisor to join our growing Southern Cross operations HST team.  So, if you are searching for your next role and are ready to step up to the challenges of this key, strategic role, we would like to talk to you!

Reporting to the HST Superintendent, the Emergency Response Advisor coordinates and executes all aspects of the mine site safety emergency response management, including the provision of Health and Safety advice and functional support to all stakeholders, and providing support and assistance to the Senior Emergency Response Advisor in all aspects of Emergency Response across the Southern Cross Operations and leases.

About you:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record  in all aspects of Emergency Response, having worked in remote mine sites with both underground and open pit, with a strong safety ethic and capable of developing and driving a culture of safety awareness within the team and at the site.  Your ability to engage with all stakeholders to ensure adherence to all safety and environmental systems and to maintain the highest possible standards to support a safe working environment for yourself and others will be critical to your success in delivering an effective outcome to this growing site.

Essential experience and qualifications will include:

Cert IV in Health Care

Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue

BG4 Certification

Formal qualifications in Drug and Alcohol testing

Cert IV TAE, Training and Assessing

Australian Manual Driver’s License
