About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Specialist to fill our Product Support Advisor (PSA) in a permanent 8&6 roster at Christmas Creek.

The primary role of the PSA is to maximum up time and product reliability. Reporting to the Project Support Supervisor, the is a hands on which requires you to carry out diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on the auxiliary fleet assigned to this Site. You will need to provide technical support as an advisor/consultant on maintenance and technical issues, whilst also undertake regular equipment inspections.  Being a specialised position, you need to work unsupervised and have sound mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.

The PSA will make recommendations for appropriate actions as a result of his findings and discuss procurement and replacement of components with maintenance and utilising additional WesTrac resources as required.

To be successful

As the successful candidate in this role you will have:

•               Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Qualification

•               Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience

•               Current C Class Licence

We would also like the successful applicant to have a HRWL with LF, EWP, DG & RB and a Confined Space + Working at Heights ticket but it’s not essential, as we will provide training for the right applicant.
