We are seeking a Regional Supply Specialist to join Anglo American on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Global Supply Manager – FM and Utilities you will be responsible for leading and developing a transformational procurement initiative focussed on improving spend management, standardizing processes to drive operational improvements and largely to gain visibility and transparency within our Facilities Management spend categories. This position will work in partnership with multiple mine sites teams and leadership to successfully deliver value through developing customised business strategies, implementation, and continuously improving processes.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Strong experience in Global Supply management with a focus on sourcing Facilities Management commodities;
Sourcing and contracts management experience;
An advanced level of understanding of Facilities Management processes, systems and services requirements;
Ability to plan and implement a stakeholder engagement and communications plans;
Strong commitment to high health, safety and environmental standards;
Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
