We are now seeking an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join our Maintenance team based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine.
Accountable to the Superintendent Engineering, this role is responsible for providing a high level of technical expertise in the development of effective and efficient scheduled maintenance programs, and the leadership of reliability improvement of the processing fixed-plant, non-process infrastructure and underground assets. This is a permanent role based on a 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
The main tasks of the role include
The development, implementation and ongoing improvement of asset management and maintenance strategies for all equipment and associated systems in the gold processing plant.
The management of a continuous improvement program for equipment availability, reliability and cost through the analysis of equipment performance and the application of reliability centred maintenance techniques
Management of the site defect elimination process and resulting improvement initiatives
The reporting of plant availability and reliability performance and the identification of reliability trends.
Identification of opportunities to improve plant operating performance
The use of condition monitoring techniques to optimise preventative maintenance and condition monitoring schedules and procedures.
The management and facilitation the process plant engineering Management of Change process
The development of appropriate engineering and maintenance standards for use by the staff and technicians involved in maintenance works in the plant
The ideal candidate will possess:
Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with least 7 years’ experience as a reliability engineer in a processing plant environment
Familiar with the reliability engineering requirements of large crushing plants, , ball mills and pumps.
A good understanding of remote site engineering challenges
A good understanding of process control and SCADA systems
Experience in RCA and RCM including FME/FMECA
Experience in using a computer based ERP system, preferably SAP
Knowledge of the WA Mines Regulations
Excellent report writing skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel
WA C Class Driver’s license
A National Police Clearance
Existing and ongoing permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory)
