We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Specialist to fill our Product Support Advisor role (PSA) in a permanent 8&6 or 2&1 roster.
The primary role of the PSA is to maximum up time and product reliability. Reporting to the Project Support Supervisor, this is a hands-on role which requires you to carry out diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on electric powered large mining trucks (AC) assigned to this customer. You will need to provide technical support as an advisor/consultant on maintenance and technical issues, whilst also undertake regular equipment inspections. Being a specialised position, you need to work unsupervised and have sound mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
As the site PSA you will make recommendations to the customer based on your findings. Discuss solutions and or replacement of components within maintenance guide lines and best practice, while utilising additional WesTrac resources as required.
To be successful
As the successful candidate in this role you will have:
Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Qualification
Or Electrical Trade Qualification (HV/LV)
Current C Class Licence
Product knowledge and maintenance experience with large electric drive trucks
Previous OEM employee (desirable)
We would also like the successful applicant to have a HRWL with LF, EWP, DG & RB and Working at Heights ticket but it’s not essential, as we will provide training for the right applicant.
