We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Planning Team, working a 9 day fortnight roster (in accordance with current QAL practices).

Responsibilities of this role include:

The ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environment

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures

You will be responsible for all aspects of planning and scheduling of work on equipment and systems in an operational section of the plant.

You will be responsible for liaising with key stakeholders to maintain the assets through monitoring and creation of maintenance plans to meet the required strategy, scoping of work, set short term and long term schedules and arrange all resources required to execute the strategy

You will utilise your technical knowledge to meet production and cost targets that are achievable and agreed while ensuring asset integrity

Develop zero based budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned assets

You will be responsible for maintaining Maintenance Master Data in our CMMS system – SAP

The ideal candidate will possess:

Engineering, Mechanical or Fabrication trade qualifications preferred

Tertiary qualifications in either Engineering, Asset Maintenance Management or Project Management would be advantageous 

Experience with budgeting and forecasting would be advantageous

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build working relationships with stakeholders

Excellent organisational skills

Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Ability to use MS office suite and SAP are desirable
