We are currently seeking suitably experienced and qualified personnel for the position of project Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team of trades, in carry out all aspects of mobile plant mechanical maintenance on an Emeco fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment.
Reporting to the Project Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will also perform the following duties:
To adhere to work health and safety principles, rules and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others;
Ensure that works being performed are done so in a safe manner, and in line with company Occupational Health and Safety & Environmental standards and various site variations;
Be actively involved in all accident/incident investigations in conjunction with the HSET teams;
Manage the performance and availability of defined fleets of equipment to achieve both operational and financial company objectives;
Responsible for an operational or functional work stream and ensures team takes responsibility for their tasks;
Provides clarity and direction that supports the effective performance of several integrated operations or functions in terms of timing, budget and delivery options;
Works in conjunction with the Regional Maintenance Team to ensure major componentry is aligned to all planned events;
Attend daily client meetings to provide operational availability of all site equipment and upcoming planned events; and
Manage, coach and mentor shift personnel.
Your Skills and Experience
5-10 years heavy workshop and field maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity;
Demonstrated knowledge and proven experience in heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance and repairs;
Demonstrated team management and leadership ability and experience;
Strong HSET knowledge and adherence;
Good understanding of business and finance goals in conjunction with overall project requirements;
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills;
Current (and valid) Australian Driver’s license;
Ability to attain a National Police Clearance certificate;
Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills; and
Good mechanical aptitude.

This position is offered as FIFO (ex Perth) direct chartered flight to the mine site, 8 days on / 6 days off, 12.5 hours / shift. Your on-site camp accommodation is modern with en-suite, great village facilities and excellent catering. Amenities include a modern kitchen and messing hall, wet-mess facility, gymnasium, theatre room, swimming pool, recreation area, tennis/basketball court and telephone/internet booths.
