We are currently seeking applications from experienced Project Manager for a weekday position at our Boggabri Coal Mining Project. Relocation assistance is available.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Lead our employee team onsite, keeping them safe, trained, competent and developing their careers within Action Drill and Blast.

Monitor our Contractual relationship, responsibilities and where necessary implement improvements or variations to ensure Client's needs are fully met.

Identify any work outside the contracted scope (variations), establishing the financial, time and other impacts of these variations and preparation of a draft claim for review by the Area Manager.

Plan and schedule drill and blast activities in line with Client Plans for 3 months in advance.

Plan, monitor, review and release plant as required by the program and progress of the work.

Ensure maintenance personnel are provided access to plant to maintain equipment in accordance with company policy and OEM recommendations.

Ensure that Action Drill & Blast’s reporting requirements are met.

Assist the Project, Operations, General and Procurement Managers in identifying and managing strategic long term supply partnerships.

Ensure Project personnel follow all relevant procedures.

Assist in identifying, inspecting, pricing and reviewing new work opportunities where requested.

Experience required:

Demonstrated drill and blast experience including detailed civil excavation and/or mining projects.

Detailed knowledge of Drill and Blast activities and experience managing or delivering projects to a Mine Owner under contract.

Detailed and proven knowledge of sensitive blasting techniques.

Demonstrated skills in safety management and leadership.

Competent ICAM investigation skills.
