The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking expressions of interest applications from experienced Mechanical & Electrical Supervisors for an upcoming shutdown in July 2020.

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance of conveyor and shutdown components on site

Supervise and control designated shutdown duties

Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, shutdown scheduling and coordinating deliveries

Develop and review documentation necessary to facilitate work carried out

Compose shutdown completion reports

Update schedules as required

Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives

Understand and implement quality control techniques

Maintain company standards for quality assurance purposes

Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested

Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed

Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed

About You

Relevant trade qualification (mechanical or electrical)

Proven knowledge and experience in shutdown planning and resource management

Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite

Previous Shutdown supervision experience in conveyor maintenance ideally in the mining sector
