About the Role:
We are currently seeking applications for a Project Administration Assistant to join our Wilpinjong Expansion Project Team on a 7-month fixed term contract. Wilpinjong mine is located in the developing western coalfields of NSW (48km north-east of Mudgee) and produces a high-quality thermal coal for domestic and export markets.
This role reports to the Wilpinjong Expansion Project Manager and is primarily responsible for providing a full range of administrative support and document management services to the project team, general manager, site leadership team and site employees generally.
This is a 7-month fixed term contract position offered on a Monday to Friday dayshift roster which allows for a residential lifestyle, with an expected commencement date in June.
Responsibilities will include:
Register and maintain project data including financial reporting
Manage monthly MasterCard reconciliation process in accordance with company policy
Retrieve information from document management system (SAP)
Distribution of data, internally and externally
Travel bookings for project staff
Assisting with online site inductions for visitors
The successful candidate must be a proactive team player, possessing strong administrative experience (preferably in an industrial work environment) along with:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with all internal and external stakeholders
A high level of computer literacy across multiple software programs, in particular SAP and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Word)
Financial reporting experience
High level of attention to detail and data entry accuracy
Ability to work unsupervised, use own initiative, approach issues logically, to think outside the square and to provide real solutions to problems which arise
