We are looking for a talented HSSE Advisor to join the Kalari team, based in our Moranbah depot. Reporting to the Regional Manager , this role will be responsible for providing proactive strategic support and sound advice on provisions to minimise safety risks across our operations in Moranbah and Springsure, and for developing and conducting safety training programs.

Key aspects of this role include:

Developing and executing strategic plans to advance towards our goal of Zero Harm; enabling Kalari to maintain industry leading safety performance.

Developing, implementing and maintaining an effective OHSE operating system.

Developing, implementing and maintaining safety and training programs for new entrants

Supporting organisational change in safety culture and behaviour to achieve the highest levels of employee engagement in respect to safety.

Holding all employees to the highest standard of safety accountability; provide training, coaching, advice and feedback to increase others' capability in safety management.

Driving continuous performance improvement through relevant metrics and reporting.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

Relevant qualifications in HSSE (Cert 4 in OH&S or higher)

Cert 4 Workplace Training & Assessment

Proven experience in safety management in the industrial/resources sector

Experience in delivering training / education

Experience in coaching safety 

Excellent communication skills

Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office package)

A current drivers licence

A positive attitude and a desire to be part of a great team

It is preferable, but not essential that you have:

Consultancy experience

Experience in multiple different industry sectors, with a preference for heavy industries – mining, logistics, manufacturing
