Reporting to the Chichester Water Management Superintendent in Utilities, an opportunity currently exists for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the team at Cloudbreak.
Key accountabilities will include:
Represent the Water management team & work cohesively with all internally & externally with stakeholders
Provide technical guidance and positive leadership to the team to drive department safety & efficiency
Work with Supervisors on job scoping, identify optimisation and efficiency opportunities
Work closely with Supervisors to align compliance to and prioritization of planned work
Work closely with Superintendent to develop and achieve budget and budget forecast expectations
Coordinate the delivery of operational improvement projects and minor capital works
Reliability Improvement - Ensure asset availability to meet/exceed department targets set by the business and play a leading role in the analysis of major failures and repeat down time events to drive improvements in both Operations, Planning and Project delivery
Coordinate, with CWM Engineering & Planning team, to effectively communicate operational and maintenance feedback and requirements for new infrastructure to Water Projects
Develop & review maintenance schedules and asset management processes for all dewatering assets
Fulfil the role of the Chichester Water Management Superintendent during periods of absence from site
Manage daily work packs and provide supervision to all Electrical, Communication, employees and contractors
Carry out investigations into electrical accidents/incidents and report to the relevant authorities as required
Ensure all electrical statutory testing and maintenance is carried out and recorded as required by your appointment
Qualifications and skills required:
Electrical Trade Qualification
Current WA Electrician's Licence
Hold statutory appointment as Electrical Supervisor
Previous Diesel Powered Generator/Pump experience (highly desirable)
Previous experience in a large mining operation involving dewatering
High Voltage Switching Certificate
Current High Risk Work Licence
Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
Experience in computer based maintenance systems
Strong commitment to health and safety
Strong leadership skills
