About the Role
RPMGlobal is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide financial oversight to our global Consulting and Advisory Division.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Advisory, the Finance Manager is responsible for the for the global provision of financial services to the division including management and KPI reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, and debt collection in addition to establishing and maintaining robust management accounting processes, delivering in an environment of rapid change.
This is a permanent, full-time role based out of RPMs corporate headquarters in the Brisbane CBD.
Produce timely, meaningful and accurate management and KPI reporting, including but not limited to Profit & Loss Report and Dashboard, Utilisation, Book of Work, Project Margins reporting across both commodities and regions.
Prepare, manage and monitor the division’s budget process.
Maintain effective debt collection and cash forecasting processes.
Oversee all divisional billing and ensure correct internal commercial contract management and revenue recognition.
Provide reports and advice to Project Managers to assist with the management and control of project budgets and commercial requirements to help mitigate overruns and write offs.
Manage global consulting incentive plans calculations.
Identify and implement process and cost efficiencies.
Leading, supporting and managing a geographically diverse team.
You will have:
Minimum five years experience in senior accounting and finance roles in global businesses.
Prior experience in mining, engineering or corporate services environment would be highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting complex global regional / divisional entities.
Experience in staff management and demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and develop a geographically diverse team.
Highly developed team building and influencing skills.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with financial ERP systems e.g. SAP ECC6, SAP Business Objects etc.
Strong organisation, prioritisation and reporting skills.
Client focus with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Intermediate to advanced Excel and data analysis and reporting skills.
High level of communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate across all regions and at all levels of the organisation.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and solve problems independently.
Demonstrate the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
Ability to coordinate and manage priorities.
