Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operations of the electrical requirements of the processing plant
What will you be doing?
Carry out all tasks as directed by the Electrical Supervisor
Maintain all electrical equipment in the process plant, WTP, STP, relative booster stations and tails storage facilities and laboratory
Maintain camp facilities, including commercial kitchen. May be required to assist mining department, kings creek incoming power infrastructure, and communications systems.
Inspect, service, adjust, troubleshoot and repair plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Supervisor the work of electrical contractors on site
Support the Electrical Supervisor to assist in the development and implementation of long term strategic planning
Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with statutory, regulatory and to Evolution mining standards and procedures
Commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution.
Are you the one?
Relevant Electrical trade qualifications, preferably with a demonstrated track record in mining related electrical work.
Experience with Pumping Systems & Power Generation
High Voltage switching and permitting systems experience
Flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks within a small maintenance team
Instrumentation competencies and training
Current C class drivers licence
Basic MS Office skills
