We are currently seeking experienced Belt Splicers, for 4 – 6 months project work, based in our Picton workshop. To be considered for this work you must have a solid background of experience in steel cord belt maintenance and repair. You are required to have good exposure to reading and interpreting work instructions, along with strong commitment to safety. Certificate III in Polymer Processing is desirable, though not essential.
To be considered for these roles you must have:
A solid background of steel cord, Belt Splicing, experience
Proficiency with inspecting belts for damage or faults, and rectifying where required
Experience in operating belt handling equipment including winders, stands and winches
A current C class drivers licence
Fitness to handle work involving manual labour and provide a clear drug and alcohol screening
