Position Responsibilities:

Provide Micromine training to current and new software users both in-house and externally

Support users with current maintenance agreements via phone, email and face-to face

Document support issues in the company CRM and report to relevant area

Assist the product development team and users during the software development cycle

Demonstrate the software on request such as: during technical pre-sales and promotional events

Travel to client sites and other MICROMINE offices as required

Consult around the Micromine product

Requirements:

Degree in Mine Engineering (or related area)

2-5 years’ experience in an operational exploration or mining environment, preferable on a site or software related

Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and decision-making ability as well as good interpersonal skills

Able to travel to remote areas

Experience in successful soliciting of client requirements

Recent experience in providing help desk support and client training is desirable

IT proficient in mining software is desirable

An understand of pit optimisation, pit design and mine scheduling is desirable
