Kempe Engineering is currently seeking to employ Fluid Power Technicians to work for our Gladstone branch in Queensland.
Work in a safe and productive manner.
Assist in the continual improvement of Kempe’s processes.
Provide technical support to ensure all works are completed to all health, safety, environment and quality requirements.
Using testing equipment to diagnose, repair and maintain fluidpower components and systems.
Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
Diagnosing and recommending solutions to fluid power and engineering problems.
Accurately and effectively identify and repair fluid power components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, reservoirs, motors, accumulators, hose fittings and filters.
Safely, effectively and accurately perform all types of maintenance work on fluid power and associated equipment to the client’s satisfaction.
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics.
Installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
Develop and maintain strong healthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE
Pro-active safety focus.
A trade qualification as a fitter or equivalent with high level of hydraulic technical experience
Experience in hydraulic hose assemblies, tube manufacture and installation.
Formal fluid power post trade training or relevant industry experience
The ability to work as part of a team.
A current driver’s licence.
All suitably qualified and experienced candidates will be considered. Kempe Engineering will also consider sponsoring applicants under the TSS 482 Visa Sponsor Program.
Salary range will be between $70,000 and $90,000 p/annum.
