As the Maintenance Planner – Projects, you will report to the Principal Asset Engineer, and will be responsible for working across the business within the Maintenance departments to drive, support and approve the development of maintenance strategies, Pronto master data and asset life cycle costs (LCC) across the business with a continuous improvement focus.
Key responsibilities of your role include:
Initiating and undertaking maintenance strategy reviews of fixed plant and mobile fleet assets, with consideration to LCC, long term plans and integrity in a manner that optimises value and risk.
Proactively inform and influence key stakeholders through deep technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills
Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the Maintenance Work Management System.
Supporting the development of maintenance related performance metrics, benchmarks, leading practices and influences and support operations to close performance gaps
Engaging, training and supporting site-based Asset Management personnel in group standards and processes, to enable continuous improvement of maintenance strategies, Pronto master data and asset LCC.
What we are looking for:
Sound understanding of fixed plant and mobile maintenance principals and their application in practice.
High level of knowledge in statutory safety and environmental requirements relevant to plant maintenance and classified plant.
Significant Pronto experience both as a user and with data configuration.
Previous site-based Asset Management experience within resources or heavy industry in a Reliability Engineering or Maintenance Planning function.
Solid awareness of Maintenance Management Systems and maintenance practices in a processing and mobile plant environment.
Good communication skills.
Current WA ‘C’ Class drivers’ licence.
