About the Role

We are seeking an experienced underground Cablebolter Supervisor to join our team at our Olympic Dam project in South Australia.  The role is responsible for supervising a team of experienced Cablebolter Operators ensuring a safe and productive work environment at all times in an underground mining environment.  The position will work a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotating roster with FIFO available from Capital Cities.  Local residents of Roxby Downs are also encouraged to apply.


Allocate machinery, work areas and tasks to shift employees;

Direct and supervise Cablebolter workers employed on the Project;

Closely supervise new or inexperienced employees;

Liaise with Client personnel in a professional manner;

Liaise with the Project Manager, Safety & Training Coordinator, Maintenance Supervisors and Client Representatives on issues affecting the workplace and or work progress;

Skills & Experience

Extensive experience in Cablebolter position in an underground metalliferous mining environment;

Experience operating as a shift supervisor;

Current manual drivers licence;

Desire to commit to the growth of the mine site;

Proven ability to provide leadership, performance management and team development;

Current First Aid & CPR qualifications – or the ability to obtain this within 3 months of starting;

The ability to problem solve and be adaptable;
