The Senior Human Resources Advisor role is critical in partnering with our Line Managers and Site Leadership team onsite at Rosebery Mine and you'll play a pivotal role in delivering advice, coaching and support on all HR generalist matters including:

Employee relations

Industrial relations

Performance Management and Development

Disciplinary processes

Remuneration

Enterprise Agreement and Award interpretation

HR Policies and Procedures

HR systems

Workforce Planning

Recruitment

HR initiatives and projects

This dynamic role is based at the Rosebery Operation in North West Tasmania and has the option of working on a 5:2 or 4:3 roster.  You will be provided accommodation in Rosebery and can choose to relocate permanently to enjoy the West Coast or to Drive In Drive Out to meet your roster from other Tasmanian locations.

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for include:

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline

Solid practical experience working in a HR Generalist position ideally within the resources sector, or an operational environment.

Solid understanding of employment/industrial relations and HR policies and procedures and Award/Enterprise Agreements.

Previous experience in negotiating Enterprise Agreements

Previous experience in dealing with Fair Work matters

Excellent communication, judgement, influencing and critical thinking skills including strong time management and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record in the end-to-end human resources processes, systems including recruitment and performance development

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships in a collaborative manner with all key stakeholders and abilty to coach and influence at a Senior leadership level.

The ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) at all levels within the organization.
