We are now seeking an Administration Assistant to join our Business Support & Services team at Sunrise Dam.
Accountable to the Facilities & Administration Coordinator, this role is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial services to all departments. This role is based at Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8/6 or variant there of FIFO roster from Perth.
The main tasks of the role include but are not limited to:
Coordinating site entry, travel and accommodation services to all departmental personnel new starters and visitors
Providing general administration support to the Business Support and Services team as directed
Creating purchase requisitions, service entries and maintenance requests in SAP
Coordinating the approvals process for contractors’ invoices
Maintaining and updating rosters in InFlight
Document control and report writing
Providing effective handover notes and coverage within the team
Ad-hoc tasks as directed
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proficiency in INX InFlight
Proficiency in SAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work well within a team environment, whilst maintaining confidentiality of information
Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
Good communication skills
Current WA Drivers Licence
Ability to work FIFO, 8/6 or variant there of
Able to attain a National Police Clearance
Permanent and ongoing work rights in Australia
Experience in a similar administration role will be held in high regard.
Exposure to mining, travel or aviation industries will also be advantageous.
