To enable our business to ensure our equipment is maintained reliably, we require experienced and capable Leading Hand Heavy-Duty Fitters to lead our maintenance teams.

Responsibilities of the role:

Daily leadership of site personnel including apprentices and sub-contractors to ensure all tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner

Actively participate in PSI meetings and ensure they are relevant to tasks

Assist in the training and learning regime of all MACA employees and sub-contractors

Complete scheduled repairs and maintenance to plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner 

Perform diagnostics, problem solving and fault finding accurately and in a timely manner.

Strive for continuous improvement by identifying, interpreting and repair for reuse of any parts and accessories.

Effectively work and communicate with other team members to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Experience in the supervison of maintenance personnel

Experience with maintenance, breakdowns, diagnostics and repair on earth moving mobile plant production equipment

Trade qualifications

Current HR driver licence

Safe work at heights

EWP

Pass a pre-employment medical

National Police clearance

Sound communication skills

Ability to work autonomously or in a team

Commitment to safety in the workplace
