About the Role

We are looking for Crane and Transport Operators to actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices, at the Cape Lambert Port Operations. These residential roles are a great opportunity for a highly motivated individuals with excellent organisational skills expertise to make a difference to the team. 

Working in a residential role (4:5:5:4 shift rotational roster) and reporting to the Cranes and Belts Supervisor, you will be:

Operating various slewing cranes and non-slewing cranes such as Leibherr LTM1130, LTM1300, Grove GMK30055, GMK7450, TMS900E, and Terex25 in single shifts

Towing belt winders and other large loads (dozers) around site on floats and drop decks

Assisting with rigging when executing pulley changes

About you

To be considered for this role, you will have: 

An Australian manual "C" Class Driver’s License

CO, CN, RI, LF

Previous experience on Liebherr and Grove AT Cranes

HC Truck Licence

Working with the maintenance teams across the site

Basic SAP experience

A passion for the safe execution of work

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

Where you will be working

Our four independent shipping terminals at two locations, Cape Lambert and Dampier, are managed as a single port system. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, product stockpiling and blending, and ship loading. Employees reside in Wickham which is located 1,572 km north of Perth and 13 km north of Roebourne in the Pilbara region of Western Australia with Karratha being the closest town. Wickham is a fascinating historic town boasting pristine sandy beaches and excellent fishing spots.
