About the Position
We are currently seeking to employ several Heavy Diesel Fitters to carry out all aspects of plant mechanical maintenance on the expanding Emeco fleet based at the Poitrel mine site.
Reporting to the Maintenace Supervisor & Leading Hands the Heavy Diesel Fitters will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of qualified trades people as well as the following:
Ongoing maintenance and service of Emeco Equipment and Machines;
Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targets;
Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required; and
Working with Emeco customers to meet company objectives.
We are looking for
A strong commitment to safety;
Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification with significant post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi;
Strong analytical skills with a solutions focus;
Ability to work as part of a cohesive team;

Current Standard 11
Current Coal Board Medical (desirable)
Nationally Recognised Trade Qualification
Demonstrated experience working on Heavy Earthmoving Machinery in a mine site environment, namely Catepillar, Komatsu & Hitachi
Working at Heights ticket
High Risk Work Licence including Dogging, Rigging, C6 Crane & EWP
