An opportunity currently exists for Blend Coordinators to join our Operations Planning team at Eliwana Mine. You will be responsible for the coordination of grades from the pit to the ROM pad, through the process plant, via the stockyard and onto the rail.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide leadership and be a role model for safety behaviours

Ensure ROM stockpiles are built to design

Ensure that grade control on stockpiles is accurate

Ensure sample results are accurate

Ensure product delivered on train meets grade, sizing and moisture quality requirements

Support Senior Weekly Planning Engineer in meeting the company objectives

Provide input to technical services to maximise output and ore recovery at the lowest cost over the life of the mine

Ensure compliance to FMG standards and statutory obligations

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

Considerable experience in a similar role in open pit mining

Experience gained working in and around an Iron Ore Mine

Solid understanding of a dry (or wet) process plant

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Tableau systems.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills
