Project Engineer

Currently we are looking for Project Engineers for a number of diverse roles and who have site-based construction and engineering experience for fixed term contract roles.  There are engineering roles across quality management, data management, batching, cut off wall; drilling and grouting operations.

Key duties and responsibilities may include (depending on the specific role):

Operating small, automated batching plants.

Quality management and adjustment of grout and backfill mixes to meet specification.

Collecting field data and sampling for laboratory testing

Supervising cut-off wall backfilling operations and trench survey.

Grout injection works including mix selection, monitoring and controlling grout placement and packer deployment and related grouting activities.

Supervision of drilling works and borehole installations.

Production data management, presentation and interpretation and reporting.

Working with Site Technicians and wider team to complete day to day duties.

Supporting Technical Site Manager, Site Co-Ordinator and other team members as required.

Promoting a strong HSE culture, supporting and complying with the project HSE requirements and processes.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Relevant Bachelor degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Site-based (Mining/Construction/ engineering) experience, including FIFO or remote location work will be highly regarded and Solid fieldwork experience in construction management

Proven ability to work effectively in isolation and within a team environment

Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of MS office suite

Open Australian drivers’ licence (automatic or manual) and First aid qualification will be highly regarded
