About Mt Carlton
This is your opportunity to join the Redpath team in creating a brand new underground mine at the Mt Carlton Operation. The Mt Carlton Mine is located approximately 140km south of Townsville (between Ayr and Bowen) and has been operating as an open cut mine since 2012. The scope of this project includes portal development from the operating pit, development into the orebody and mine production including CRF backfilling. Redpath will have a fleet of brand new underground equipment including a brand new Sandvik DS421) making it an exciting opportunity for operators.
Roles are based on a 2/2 roster with DIDO available, FIFO Brisbane or Cairns to Townsville, or bus in and out of Townsville. We are seeking Cablebolt Operators for a November 2019 start.
All applicants must have:
Underground Cablebolting experience;
A safety approach in keeping with Redpath's principle Safety - First, Last and Always
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and police clearance;
Current manual drivers licence;
Senior First Aid Certificate
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
