A recently redefined role within our Macraes Process Plant, this position will initially work closely with the Process Plant Manager to lead the roll out of the newly developed Strategic Asset Management Plan and provide guidance to the wider Process Plant management team on the value of this philosophy. You will also be responsible for transitioning the Process Plant to the agreed Asset Management Process. This role will have a direct influence over the Process Plant's focus on development, maintenance and operations for mid and long-term objectives and provide high-level management of day-to-day planning and delivery functions. The successful applicant will come with significant and demonstrated experience in a Strategic Asset management role with sound business acumen and robust understanding of the interaction between people, process and value chain assets.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Leading the development and implementation of a change process for the Process Plant from functional delivery to Asset Management Process
Delivery of the Strategic Asset Management plans for the Macraes Process Plant
Budget management and cost analysis review of current state vs future goals
To provide active leadership and coaching to the Processing team
Engagement with the wider Macraes operation to review efficiencies and deliverables
Oversight of the tactical and short-term planning and maintenance models
The successful candidate will have the following:
A degree in Engineering or Applied Science
Post graduate business qualification (MBA or equivalent experience)
A recognised qualification in Asset Management, including certified membership of the Institute of Asset Management or similar
Established experience in people leadership
A full, clean and current driver's licence is essential, as is confidence driving a manual vehicle
You must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
