Our Mt. Isa IPL Operations employs approximately 50 personnel with its major activity being processing offtake from the Glencore copper smelter to make sulphuric acid, which is then used to make fertiliser at Phosphate Hill operations. What we do matters, our people, products and services support farming communities across the Eastern seaboard and feed millions.
We are a close-knit team, and this role is a key part of our operation working closely with team members throughout the employment lifecycle.
Reporting to the site manager, you will have a passion for working with people, and will help us to increase the capability and competency of the workforce, whilst providing administrative support to the site.
As an Administration and Training Officer you will be responsible for;
Organising training and maintaining training calendars
Report on training metrics
Supporting onboarding processes
Booking flights and accommodation (both commercial and internal charters through SAM)
SAP Accounts Payable (Service Entries, Good Receipting, Purchase Requisitions, Reservations)
Supporting the team with document control and registration
Monitoring and ordering consumables
Maintaining deadlines for reporting, financial accounting and system requirements
Monthly credit card expense reporting
1hr per week – Dedicated Improvement time (maintaining and standardising designated area zone)
