About the Role:

We have experienced continual growth in our NSW Coal business, and are now on the lookout for a Territory Manager to be based either in our Kurri Kurri Technical Centre close to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, NSW.

Our Territory Managers are the very heart and soul of our business. They are general managers of a geographical Orica Territory, and are accountable for the operational and commercial success of each of their patches. Understanding our customers values, goals and objectives is key to succeeding in a Territory Manager role.

We enjoy our TM’s to be at arm’s length from our client’s, to be visible, and have the ability to respond to requests, variations, or changes to service as quickly as possible. A Territory Manager is not only an integral part of Orica’s management team, but also an integral part of our customers management team. That ingrained knowledge of each of our client’s operations and goals, equips us beautifully to deliver outstanding services.  

In order to succeed in each of their roles, our Territory Manager’s have numerous support streams and functions at their fingertips which includes: Technical Engineering expertise, Operational Excellence, Human Resources & Commercial support.

What you bring:

Most importantly, sharing our value that safety is the priority, always;

Experience in commercial customer contract management;

Well-developed numerical, analytical and systems skills;

An inspirational leadership style;

Degree qualifications in Mining Engineering, Commerce or a relatable qualification is preferred.
