About The Role
Iluka has an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Officer to join the Procurement team at our corporate head office in Perth.
Reporting to the Category Manager – Mining & Key Commodities, the key accountabilities of the role include:
Preparation of RFP/RFT documentation & management of tender activities including contract negotiation
Formulation, drafting and execution of Goods and Services contracts
Ongoing management of Mining & Commodity contracts under the supervision of the Category Manager; and
Contract and category data analysis and preparation of reporting.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
Tertiary qualification in Mining/Business/Commercial Law or related discipline (preferred);
previous experience in a Contracts Officer role;
knowledge of contracting principles;
able to work to strict timelines;
proficient in MS Office;
previous experience using a CMS and SAP;
a high standard of written and verbal communications skills; and,
strong attention to detail.
