Reporting to the Health, Safety and Training Manager, you will provide support in all matters that relate to SHMS, strong skills in the development of ISO 45001 based on health and safety management systems, assurance, legislative compliance, records management, strong skills in the facilitation of risk assessments and the development of procedures, experience in facilitating incident investigations using the ICAM or similar process, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and ability to influence across all levels . You will have an eye for detail, he highly organized and above all work well within a very busy team. With excellent computer skills, you will maintain and be critical contact point on site for our SHMS system as required by legislation. This challenging role will have you providing support across the operation using our online programs as well as participating in audits and supervisor one administrator. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to: managing the Rolleston Safety & Health Management system including management of controlled documents, maintaining the Mine record Entries as required by legislation, preparing reports as required, and educating coal mine workers on the use of the SHMS. This role will also entail support to Health, Safety and Training Manager as required, organising meetings and schedules. As an organised and proactive candidate, you will have a positive demeanor and an understanding of current site systems (or similar) SharePoint, SAP, CMO and Scenario.

Ideally, your background will include a tertiary qualifications (OH&S, legal or related), a high level of computer literacy and experience in a similar role. The ability to work in high pressure and ambiguous environments and maintain confidentiality with regards to tasks is essential.

This role is a permanent full time position on a Monday to Friday staff roster.
