As part of our global Operations team, you will provide valuable technical and advisory services to MICROMINE’s client base in South Africa and abroad.
Duties of this role will include but not be limited to:
Perform all aspects of Pitram implementations in South Africa (and globally as required; this includes coaching and training of clients)
Act as single point of contact to a dedicated selection of clients
Maintain and develop long-term customer relationships
Produce periodic reports as defined by management
Prepare and present product demos as required
Travel including mine sites and/or international destinations
To be successful for this role you must demonstrate:
A commitment to exceptional customer service
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in supporting enterprise style application
Experience with networking and SQL
Ability to accurately gather client requirements
Capability to design and implement a IT system
Experience in the recording, triage and management of support tickets
Good communication skills with the ability to interact and explain technical concepts to clients from non-technical backgrounds
IT proficient experience in the following is an advantage:
Knowledge of Pitram or alternative dispatch systems such as Modular, Minestar and/or Jigsaw
Understanding or experience of the mining industry
