The Technical Pre-Sales, Pitram is a member of the Australian Pitram sales team. The role provides key technical support to members of the Pitram sales team as well as delivering technical presentations to clients, both in a direct sales environment as well as at trade shows and conferences.

The position is required to contribute to the development of sales and marketing collateral, manage tender responses and coordinate the generation of all Pitram sales proposals.

Awareness and competency in the use of the Pitram product is essential. As a result, the role will be seconded to the Pitram Operations team to perform fee-earning work on a limited basis.

As a member of a truly global team, the role will entail travel.

Position Responsibilities

Design solution and implementation plans for our tier-one clients.

Conduct scoping/feasibility studies at mines.

Assist in the qualification and risk assessment of potential Pitram projects; including the management of Bid/No Bid meetings.

Provide technical input and act as the central coordination point for all international Pitram Sales proposals, RFP’s, RFQ’s, RFI’s and RFT’s. This will include: drafting; reviewing; updating; escalations and contributions from relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery to senior management for sign off.

Deliver live and remote demonstrations of the Pitram system and related modules.

Develop training manuals, technical specification and product overview documents for use in sales pitches and training.

Liaise with marketing in developing Pitram sales collateral including: creation of video content for Pitram software; maintaining templates for proposals and pre-sales questionnaires and compiling the Pitram Sales toolkit.

Provide technical assistance to the Pitram Sales team as required as well as lead and assist at Pitram trade shows.

Follow the Pitram Sales Process as set by the Chief Commercial Officer and support the Pitram Sales team in adhering to this.

Account management of technical / IT client stakeholders.

Work closely with Managers to gather information as required, ensuring proposed solution matches client requirements.

Skills and Experience

Mining related degree and experience

Broad knowledge of the mining process and the applicability of fleet management, mine production and control systems.

Ability to design, configure and troubleshoot Pitram systems.

Experience in the back-end of Pitram or SQL databases.

Understanding of the Pitram value proposition for all mining operations in Pitram’s target market.

Ability to work as part of a larger team to promote a consistent level of professionalism across the Pitram team.

Thrive on front facing opportunities to communicate, and explain MICROMINE’s offering to potential clients.

Create and deliver technical Pitram presentations to internal and external clients.

Willingness to contribute journal articles in the field of mine control.

Proven experience in the application of Pitram or a similar mine control solution in a mining environment.

High level of IT skills related to the use of Microsoft Technologies (IIS, SQL Server, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and experience with contracts and negotiations (desirable.)
