The Opportunity

Reporting to the Superintendent Production Analysis and Improvement, the Specialist Fleet Management coordinates and manages the development, implementation and performance of all components of the fleet management system. 

Key Accountabilities

Co-ordinates and manages the installation and configuration of Fleet Management System (FMS) hardware and software as well as all tasks and activities relating to the maintenance and performance of Fleet Management System components

Manages, troubleshoots and debugs Fleet Management software

Monitors data integrity and ensures all validation errors are corrected

Ensures FMS data is available and accessible to operational teams

Provide support and coaching in the use of the FMS to operational teams

Proactively develops and fosters a collaborative relationship with Maintenance sub-function to ensure timely maintenance of all FMS components, maximising equipment availability and reliability

Proactively develops and fosters a collaborative relationship with Maintenance Analysis and Improvement sub-function to ensure a co-ordinated and efficient approach to fleet management and monitoring

Drives effective change management where applicable

About you

Tertiary qualified in Computing/Information Systems, Electronics, Communications, Electrical or Mining Engineering or another relevant tertiary/trade qualification

Exceptional safety leadership with an ability to identify and eliminate hazards in the workplace

Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to negotiate, consult, interact and influence across teams in the wider organisation

Experience with corporate and OT networks, including routing, Wi-Fi and LTE

2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within the Mining and Resources sector

Operational experience in surface mining
