Due to continued growth across the business, a number of opportunities have arisen across our various projects for experienced Safety & Training Coordinators to join the team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Coach and mentor workers, encouraging safe behaviour through observations and demonstration of proactive safety actions whilst always showing a genuine care for all workers health, safety and welfare;
Deliver training and where applicable assess competency levels;
Facilitate risk assessments;
Work closely with stakeholder to maintain and improve WHS systems and compliance;
Accurately maintain the site training matrix;
Assist in the management of injuries and rehabilitation of injured workers;
Lead incident analysis.
You will be a self-motivated individual who possess a can do attitude and a willingness to be part of a small and effective team;
Ability to develop and maintain relationship;
Hold Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety,
Hold a Certificate IV TAE;
Hold a current and valid drivers licence;
Hold or be willing to obtain a national police clearance;
Have good computer literacy (Microsoft Office package);
Possess Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator experience;
Hold Qualifications and experience in auditing (Desirable);
Drug and Alcohol Tester (Desirable);
Have proven experience in an underground safety and training position.
If you have practical underground mining experience operating a variety of equipment this will be an advantage.
