Enterprise Applications Mining Value Chain Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Partner – Enterprise Applications (SAP and non-SAP Mining Value Chain) to join our Technology Services team based at Southbank Melbourne. The purpose of the role is to provide thought leadership and management in the effective identification, justification, planning and implementation of enterprise application initiatives for the mining value chain, within the context of the enterprise application, and broader business and technology landscape. This includes guiding the design and development of solutions to meet current and future business needs, collaborating with internal stakeholders and technology services partners and other suppliers to achieve MMG’s business objectives.

As a successful candidate, you will:

Be the touch point for business demand and play a key part in identifying opportunities to optimise the current enterprise applications landscape in conjunction with MMG’s technology services partner

Contribute to roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives for enterprise applications (SAP and non-SAP) aligned with the company strategy

Develop and contribute to business cases based on identifiable improvements and quantifiable benefits such as rapid delivery, value realisation, cost reduction, enhanced user satisfaction, improved productivity with increased operational efficiency

Provide comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modification to, solution components ensuring appropriate consideration of relevant architectures, changes to services, standards, processes and practices and compatibility of existing and planned solution components

To be successful to this role, you will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline with Enterprise Application accreditations, and have sound experience in planning and deploying ERP initiatives, associated with SAP modules such as SD, LE, CM, QM, PP, PS, PPM, PM, and OpenText xECM. As an ideal candidate, you will have strong record in architecture and business partner roles with a proven history in working effectively with internal stakeholders and technology services partners.
