About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be a site administrator for mining projects but be Brisbane based. The role plays an important part to our projects and involves giving administration support to the Project Manager and Project teams. As our projects run 24/7 the role requires working hours of 6am – 4pm Mon-Fri with occasional travel to sites as required. This role is based in our Brisbane office located at Eagle Farm (new facilities) and free onsite parking is available.

These duties include but not limited:

planning and organizing flights to/from site for employees;

management of the site payroll system, including processing of timesheets, leave requests, new   starters and terminations for all wages employees;

any other administration duties as directed by the Project Manager and Operations Manager;

manage accounts payable, including processing of purchase orders, receipting, invoices;

booking of external training;

assist the training and maintenance departments with data entry as required; and

manage and maintain manning lists and employee rosters.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience within a similar role - preferably as a site administrator

knowledge of mining environment highly regard;

high attention to detail;

current manual Driver’s Licence;

a professional, “can do” attitude;

a team player who enjoys challenges and can work under pressure;

excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to prioritise;

ability to build relationships in a multi-site environment;

demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-task;

ability to pass a police clearance and pre-employment medical;
