You’re skilled in the world of communications and looking for the challenge that can only be offered through working in the internal communications team of New Hope Group. You relish the opportunity to be involved in enticing works such as driving our employee engagement and developing communication skills and systems across the wider business.
As well as the chance to use your degree in communications, journalism (or another related field), to be successful you will also have;
Strong writing skills and strong ability to translate messaging across multiple audiences – ideally developed through previously developing internal communications
Experience working in a professional communications or public relations environment
Competent in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro
Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to meet new people and learn about the industry
Ideally, you will have had experience working in resources or other heavy industries
About the role
Based at the New Hope Group Corporate Office in Brookwater (with a move to the Brisbane CBD planned for next year), you will have regular interaction with our operating sites near Toowoomba, Ipswich, Moranbah and the Hunter Valley and will assist the Communications Advisor in delivering New Hope’s internal communication strategy which involves:
Developing engaging internal content in various formats (print, video, digital, in-person, written etc.)
Working on internal communication campaigns to promote news, company culture and events
Assisting in managing and maintaining the company’s intranet and smart phone app
Assisting in the production of the internal newsletter and other employee publications
Building strong relationships across New Hope’s different locations
