The Queensland government has again pushed back the deadline to finalise a complex royalty agreement with coal giant Adani.
The government was due to sign a deal for royalties from the controversial $2 billion Carmichael mine by Saturday, after failing to meet its September 30 deadline.
No new deadline has been set.
An Adani spokeswoman said construction on the Carmichael mine and rail projects was "well and truly under way" and was not being held up by royalty negotiations.
