Coronavirus Crisis: Victorian FIFO Worker Allegedly Broke Quarantine, Flew Straight To Pilbara Mine Site

A second person in as many days has been charged with breaching coronavirus quarantine after flying to a Pilbara mine site shortly after his arrival in Perth from Victoria.

The 49-year-old Geelong man, who The West Australian reports is a contractor for an Australian mining giant, arrived in the State on July 3 and was directed to self-isolate “within his suitable address” for a fortnight.
